Source Media
The following chapters describe the requirements for the Source Media Files. This is not related to Encoded Media Formats (that are delivered to the users).
Container
The following container formats are supported:

Video
The following Video Codecs are supported:
- AVC (also known as H.264)
The following Framerates are supported:
- 23.98 (24000/1001)
Only progressive video is supported (no support for interlaced video).
Embedded Closed Captions are not supported.
Audio
The following Audio Codecs are supported:
- AAC (Profile Low Complexity)
- AC3 (Dolby Digital)
- TrueHD (Dolby TrueHD)
The following Channel Layouts are supported:
- Stereo
- 5.1
- 5.1 (side)
Each audio track must also have a valid audio language tag (title or description metadata is not used for language detection).
The Sample Rate must be 48.000 Hz.
